Meadowbank House sits just 10 minutes’ walk from Chipping Campden in the North Cotswolds. A large, light and extremely luxurious house, with a special blend of contemporary luxury furnishings and Cotswold details.
It sleeps up to 16 in six bedrooms. Meadowbank has a heated pool, hot tub, playground and games room with table tennis, pool and table football, plus a giant TV with Sky.
From the terraces outside the house there are wonderful views across the countryside to St James’s Church.
Meadowbank House is set on its own in four acres of gardens with fantastic views of rolling Cotswold countryside and the church of St James’s, Chipping Campden. The gardens and grounds are completely private.
You can step out from the Drawing Room onto two big terraces – one with a barbecue and plenty of tables and chairs for al fresco dining, the other a suntrap with pool, hot tub and loungers. Beyond the terrace is a big lawn with plenty of room for games or just running around.
The heated outdoor pool is set in a suntrap a few steps from the house, fenced in for safety. The hot tub is close by, easily accessed from the Drawing Room, and is heated and in use all year round. Just across the main lawn is the games room – just the place for the kids to hang out – or mums and dads to let off steam. Children will also love the playground with swings and a king-size trampoline with safety surround. The pool is open from May to September.
Meadowbank House has masses of space for everyone to relax in. The big, sophisticated hall opens through into the Kitchen and Drawing Room. The big, light Kitchen is fitted to an extremely high spec, with an Aga, built in oven and microwave, ceramic hob and American style fridge freezer. There is a large breakfast area with a lovely oak table perfect for breakfast, children’s meals or a chat over a glass of wine.
The huge Drawing Room is at the centre of the house, with masses of luxurious sofas, double aspect views, a huge conservatory area and French windows opening onto two large terraces. There is a large Cotswold stone fireplace plus a 50″ TV with full Sky package, Apple hi-fi and lots of children’s toys, books and dvds. The hot tub is just outside the Drawing Room.
The Dining Room is another large, double aspect room with views over the gardens. There is a huge oak table with ample room for 16 to dine together. There’s also a utility room with washing machine and a tumble drier. And if you’re looking for a games room, it’s just outside across the garden.

Two of the bedrooms are family rooms, sleeping four, and one bedroom is on the ground floor, with French windows opening out onto the swimming pool terrace.
Before you arrive for your Meadowbank House holiday, we’ll consult with you regarding the best configuration of bedrooms and beds for your holiday.
Our baby pack includes high chairs and cots. There are also beakers, bowls, plates and cutlery for your children.
For slightly older children, there’s the pool, hot tub, trampoline, swings, games room and plenty of space to play in the garden.
Teenagers will love the games room with pool table and table football – they’re separate enough from the house to have fun and get away from younger siblings, yet close enough to stock up on drinks and nibbles. They’ll also be thrilled with the chance to tackle adventure activities at Rob Ireland Country Pursuits. If they want to unwind, they’ll enjoy the heated pool and hot tub.
