Go Ape Thetford Forest is just north of Bury St Edmunds but well worth the short journey. Go Ape is all about having fun, being adventurous & getting outdoors for a great day out. Come swinging through the trees, you won’t find anything like it.

Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm is a working farm breeding endangered farm animals. Cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, alpacas and pigs. Children are even given a bag of free animal food.

Kids of all ages will enjoy a day out at Stonham Barns. From the owl sanctuary to the golf course, there is loads to do for everyone.

Bury St Edmunds is a medieval Suffolk town with fantastic features such as historical architecture, the Cathedral, plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants, plus the famous Bury St Edmunds Abbey, which is surrounded by the Abbey Gardens.

Needham Market is a bustling small town whose high street, houses, shops and boutiques are full of charm and character and a great day out.

Ickworth House is a spectacular National Trust property open to visitors. Within this architectural oddity you will find a renowned collection of paintings, portraits, furniture and other treasures. The estate offers a great day out for visitors including tours of the house and a vineyard.

For a true taste of local heritage, a trip to the Greene King Visitor Centre, Bury St Edmunds, should be at the top of any Days Out list. Here you can visit the home of Abbot Ale, Greene King IPA, Old Speckled Hen and Ruddles County.
