Discover the Peak District

With the Peak District National Park right on your doorstep an incredible walk or bike ride is never far away during your stay at Birdsgrove House. Dovedale is not to be missed – one of the most beautiful valleys in England. Or venture a little further into the Peak District for more rugged walks – and great pubs too.

You can make the most of being right on the River Dove and hire a row boat or enjoy an afternoon trying to catch the fish that swim past Birdsgrove House.

The market town of Ashbourne in Derbyshire is less than two miles away. The cobbled market-place, hidden alleys and yards are a delight to explore. And just a short drive away are the Heights of Abraham. A cable car journey is just the start at this popular family Peak District attraction in Matlock Bath.
