Where the stone walls arc away across verdant valleys. Where the shadows of clouds hang over high moorland. Where there’s so much to discover. Birdsgrove House is where you’ll get away from it all. Yet find it all, too.
Birdsgrove House is a rambling Grade II-listed home on the cusp of the Peak District, sleeping two dozen in ten bedrooms with 12 acres of wonderful gardens.
Life here is as real and slow-paced as the ale. The fireplaces were made for family games; the huge 2m Sky TV projector perfect for movie nights. This big house with big spaces will make some big memories.
Welcome to the world of the snug, the open fire and the comfy sofa. This is where you can get close to friends around blazing logs or a giant TV screen. Or escape completely, in the games room, the maze of reception rooms and bedrooms.
At Birdsgrove House you are greeted by the large entrance hall with open fire, sofas and the large projector screen. Opening off from this is the Snug, a cosy and comfortable room with couches, colour TV and DVD player; the Formal Living Room – a chill out room for some peace and quiet; and the Dining Room, a large spacious traditional dining room with room for 43 to dine together.
As with the whole house, the kitchen is luxurious with a Clive Christian fitted kitchen and an island for chopping and chatting with marble worktops. With everything you need from the Amercian style range and fridge / freezer and a Utility Room with a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
There is a games room with games available for the young and old and a study, useful for catching up on the internet.
